Once you have received your awesome swegway scooter you will need to master the art of riding it. So how do you operate a smart scooter and how do you control it? The answers are all here so lets get riding.
If you want to be gliding your swegway around your house, the kitchen or the streets then firstly you need to get on it and balance. This is very easy to do though, and controlling it is easy too. The most difficult part for most people will be starting and stopping it. But once you get used to how it works, it will just be like riding a bike.
So now you are balancing on the board, you just have to start leaning forward and it will start moving, the faster you want to go the more you lean forward. The board are controlled by a sensor that is under each foot pad, this detects the micro-movements of your feet which are sent straight to the motors.
Just point your toes down to go forward, and put your weight into your heels to go backwards. Braking is as easy as leaning backward. The board is just moved around by literally tilting and leaning your body which are picked up by the sensors that are built into both foot panels.
To turn left and right, you will just need to lean in the direction you want to go, easy peasy. The smart scooter obviously runs much better and faster (top speed around 10 kilometres per hour or 6.2 mph), but once outside on hills and bumps you will notice a slowing down, and a possibly unbalancing so take care.
So now that you know how to operate a swegway or mini segway, you can have tons of fun. The only real problem you will have is coping with all the jealous looks and people asking if they can have a go.
